Are You Waiting in Agony?
Waiting can be agonizing. Or it could be a relief.
It’s been a while since I’ve written a post because I’ve been going through some personal issues. In the last few months, I’ve had to do a lot of running around. I felt relief when the process was done, but now I’m waiting to hear from another party.
The main issue with waiting for others is that things are not in my control. It’s one thing to be running around like a chicken with my head cut off, trying to achieve something. It’s quite another thing to be waiting for someone else to take action.
So what do we do, so we don’t go crazy?
Accept that the situation is not in your control.True acceptance will calm your mind.
Get back into your routine. You may have missed paying some bills. Do your food shopping. Get back into your cleaning routine.
Return to your lifestyle. What was your life like before you started running in circles? Did you enjoy reading, walking, cooking? Get back to that.
Indulge in your guilty pleasures. I love to sprawl on the couch and watch my favorite shows while eating ice cream. Whatever takes your mind South, do it.
The idea is to return to your life. If you have built a life based on your values, then you have joy. Get back to that. Whatever you’re waiting for will come at the right time. Believe that and keep moving!
You’ll be glad you did!

Accept the Changes
I’ve been away for a couple of weeks, taking care of life issues. No matter how many plans we make, things happen to derail us. Rather than stressing over the fact that we can’t keep our normal routines, we need to take measures to keep our sanity.
~Take a breath and slow down. Take a moment to plan your new path.
~Accept the change in your lifestyle. It’s probably temporary.
~Learn what you can from the new situation.
Acceptance is the key to change. You may not be happy about your situation, but by taking these steps you’ll make adjustments with more ease.
